Boondock boys are hitting the woods in full force hangin new sets, scouting, and checkin trail cams. We have had some good luck catching some good bucks on camera so far, and hopefuly there are more to come! Keep your eyes peeled for new pics as we get them!

Food plots are coming along very well thanks to all the rain that we've had. Starting to see a lot of good activity on the cameras. This season we have the opportunity to hunt a prime piece of property in Buffalo County WI, and we expect to see some bruisers in the Trails End food plots we planted this summer.

The Boondock crew has been busy fishing, putting in food plots, and gearing up for this next season. We have a lot of I kam footage we are putting together and we can't wait to show it off so look for that soon. Also, we are glad to have Trails End food plot seed as a partner this year helping us put some extra antler on this years bucks. Turkey season started up for the Boondock crew and we are ready to crush some birds. Currently we are workin on the videos for the Learn to Hunt kids and filming our own stuff look forward to it soon. Also, fishing opener is around the corner and we will have some tips and tricks to show you soon.

Chris ended the video archery season by taking first overall and a victory in the end of season tournament. The entire rest of the group ended up near the top as well. Our new Ikams are in and we hope to get some good footage with them soon. Check them out in our sponsors.

Took 10 kids out with the DNR learn to hunt program and the youth hunt and came up with 10 birds a lot of close calls and some pumped up first time hunters.

The team is pumped to take some youth out hunting with the DNR's learn to hunt program in early april then its time to plant a few in the ground ourselves.

We are getting pumped for the upcoming turkey season and keep on tuning in the Renegades for some turkey burstin. The group plans on helping out with a learn to hunt turkey program in Chippewa County coming up in April. If you have and intrest in the program send us an email and we will pass it along.

Scores have been climbing at video archery and a new member has been added to the crew. Nate Dachel will serve as the head of Boondock Outdoors field staff. Look for his profile soon. Also, pictures have been added and there is a whole new bowfishing album to take a look at. A few of us are heading fishing this weekend and we hope to have more pictures to add soon.

The Boondock Boys are ready to shoot tomorrow night down at Schrecks and we are planning our up coming seasons. We are ready to get the ball rolling on another season of outdoor adventures.

Video archery league started tuesday at Schrecks place in Tilden, WI and the Boondock boys were ready and raring to go. So far Chris is leading the group in points after an impressive 232 out of 250 the first night. We've got the Renegades firing on all cylinders and plan to put up some top scores this season. After taking some time to regroup and enjoy holiday season Boondock Outdoors is ready to go. Gulli and Travis Lau have been on ice and will have some pictures up in the next few days. Chris and Travis Hakes have been preparing for the next Boondock outings and working with sponsors. We are looking forward to a great year in the woods and on the water.

Well gun season is upon us here in Wisconsin and from all accounts it has been really slow. Chris and the Lau didnt see too much and Gulli missed a nice 10 on public land. Lot more season left though and we are axious for late season and ice fishing coming soon.

Ruts goin strong now and Gulli spotted a few nice deer while working on a rut stand up north. We should have a couple more opportunities in Buffalo county coming up and the possibilities are there.

Another day spent down in Buffalo county and another buck spotted but not a shooter this time. St. Hubert Outfitters has been doing a good job workin with us to get a big one down.

Ruts really starting to kick up and we are hitting the woods as much as possible. We started to see some better bucks late last week and the big boys are sure to be running around soon. It also looks like a trip to Buffalo County through St. Hubert Outfitters might be in the works so stay tuned !

Gulli had a tough fishing trip to ND where the walleyes didn't cooperate but the Pike bit well and made it worth it. By the duck numbers sighted Boondock Outdoors may have to go back for some duck hunting. Chris was out this morning and the woods were quiet, but Gulli and Lau are headed out tonight for another go at it.

After a close encounter at dusk last night with bullwinkle Chris is eager to get back in the stand. Gulli is heading out west for a late fall walleye and pike trip in North Dakota but can't wait to get back and hit it hard next week. All reports say that deer are movin and bucks have been fighting hardcore. New pictures are on there way and video is being worked on. So keep checkin back

Trav Hakes formed a vendetta with a buck he's seen before and Gulli's lockin in on his rut spots after a weekend of blastin ducks. Deer are still movin and showing signs of a possible early rut. Chris spent some time in the woods last night but came back soaked from melting snow. We ended the night with some competitive rounds of video archery at Shrecks Place in Tilden that took us well into the night.

Deer are on the move and the first scrapes are on the ground. Boondocks staff has already passed on some decent bucks looking for some of the mack daddy's we got pictures of earlier this fall.

Temps in northern WI finally start dropping and the deer have been moving according to reports. Friend of Boondock Outdoors Kevin B. arrowed his first deer of '09 look for video soon.
